Panther Cross Country girls and boys teams competed in the preseason meet Miller Landing Madness 5K on Saturday, August 22. The girls team placed 3rd. Julia Rose Travis placed in the top ten among high school girls. Coach Francee Laywell was the top finisher for her age group. Kristin Manos, who has been practicing with the team, ran her first 3K.

Panther Volleyball win in Preseason Play
JPII Panther Volleyball wins in 3 games against Community Christian and then wins in 3 games against North Florida Christian in Leon HS preseason play. Nice work ladies! Next game on Tuesday against Community Christian then Thursday against Godby, both games at home in the Panther gym. JV game at 5:00pm, Varsity at 6:00pm.

Panthers Cross Country Team enjoying some R&R
Panther Cross Country runners are enjoying a week of fun in the sun running in the state parks, kayaking, swimming, and bonding as a team. Day 1 the team traveled from JPII to Summer Camp Beach and took a walk on the beach before relaxing the rest of the night. Day 2 started early with a 4 mile run at Ocklockonee River State Park followed by breakfast and some fun at the pool. Later tonight, runners will compete in an epic photo scavenger hunt.
