John Paul II’s Nick Piazza Signs with BGSU

Congratulations to Nick Piazza on signing with Bowling Green State University to play baseball this Summer!  Nick finished off his memorable baseball career at JPII by becoming the first baseball player in JPII history to sign with a Division I school.

“Accepting an offer from Bowling Green State University has been a dream come true. I’d like to thank all those who have supported me and I’d like to give special recognition to my high school coaches Ken Silvestri, Patrick O’Neal, Tom Harrison, and also my summer ball coaches John Judge, Jay Bobel, and Mark Sackett,” Piazza said.  “Without them this might not have been possible. The emotions that have been shared and felt have been incredible. I’d also like to give recognition to my parents for always being there for me and pushing me to achieve my dream. It is truly incredible and almost unbelievable when you have finally achieved your goal  through the hard work and dedication put in everyday. I am very blessed and look forward to taking my talents to BGSU in the fall. Go Falcons!”

We are all so proud of you Nick!
