After previously losing to Jefferson, the Panthers got their revenge at home with an incredible defensive effort, winning 52-24 and giving up only one point in the 4th quarter. Marshall Moyle continued his impressive week with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Houston Palmer added 8 points and 8 rebounds, and Frank Tracy III added 12 points. This is the Panthers second win in a row.

Lady Panthers Basketball celebrates Senior Night
Congratulations to Erin Kolman and Maria Nixon on great careers as girls basketball players. Erin holds the single season record for 3 point shots made (35 and counting), and Maria holds school records for blocks, rebounds, and points. The two girls are a big reason the Lady Panthers have had their best four year stretch in the school’s history. Good luck ladies!
Panthers Sweep Robert F. Munroe
In an impressive showing, all JPIICHS basketball teams overwhelmed the Bobcats. After trailing into the 3rd quarter, the Panther JV team went on a run to win comfortably by 11 points, 39-28. In the 2nd game, the Women’s team bested the Bobcats by over 20 points to win 42-21. Erin Kolman and Maria Nixon led the team with 19 points, and Maria Nixon added 16 rebounds. In the final game, the Men’s team won 64-47 behind 18 points from Houston Palmer and 14 points and 13 rebounds from Marshall Moyle.
Men’s Soccer Defeats Franklin County in the first round of the districts
In the first game of the playoffs, John Henry Moran went off with all four Panther goals in a 4-3 win over the Franklin County Seahawks. The men’s soccer team will take on Lafayette today at 5PM at Maclay in the district semifinals.
Conroy Player of the Year, Murray and Comer honored as well
Congratulations to the girls golf team. This week Teresa Conroy has been named the Tallahassee Democrat Girls Golfer of the Year. In addition to having the low average for the entire year, Teresa won the City Championship and was the lowest Tallahassee-area finisher at the State Tournament. As player of the year, Teresa also earned a spot on the all-Big Bend first team. She was joined by teammate Grace Murray on the first team and teammate Morgan Comer who made the second team.
