It was a great Saturday for some true Cross Country! The Panthers competed at Silver Lake Recreational Center just outside of Tallahassee City Limits. The course was challenging with sugar sand, obstacles and hills. The morning started with an open race where members of the Gulf Winds Track Club and other members of the community raced the 5k course. Immediately after this community race, the panthers took the course against local high schools, Maclay, Godby, Wakulla, Aucilla Christian Academy, and North Florida Christian School. This was a great test for our District competition in October. The Panthers finished well and are looking forward to some PR’s at their next race, the Disney Cross Country Classic in Orlando.
