
Head Coach – Emily McGlynn
Emily McGlynn, in her second season with the Panthers, is excited for what this season will bring. Emily studied math and philosophy at the Catholic University of America. During her time at CUA, Emily earned volleyball conference Rookie of the Year. Her senior year she was recognized with the Donley Cup Award for athletic and academic achievement. After graduating, Emily began her teaching career in Baton Rouge, LA while earning her Masters in Education from The University of Notre Dame. She continued to foster her love for volleyball by assistant coaching. Emily is now excited to begin her second season as head coach for the Lady Panthers.

Assistant Coach – Patricia Young
Patricia Young is in her first year as an Assistant Coach for the Lady Panthers. After graduating from Trinity in 2005 and JPII in 2009, Patricia continued her education at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, earning a B.S. in Mathematics. During her time at Saint Vincent, she was also a four year member of the Bearcats golf team. Patricia is also in her second year as faculty at JPII, teaching both math and history. She is the senior class advisor and the student government moderator. Patricia was the third string Mary in her fifth grade Christmas pageant. While juggling many hats at JPII, Patricia is excited to work with the Lady Panthers on the volleyball court. |

Assistant Coach – Mary Rose McCarron
Mary Rose McCarron, a 2004 Trinity and 2008 JP2 graduate, is in her second season with the John Paul II Panthers. After working as a VPK teacher at Evening Rose Pre-School, Mary Rose is now a social worker for Boys Town. Mary Rose graduated from Saint Leo University with a degree in Social Work. While at John Paul II, Mary Rose played on the Varsity Volleyball team for four years an as outside hitter. Mary Rose is happy to be back as an assistant coach and is looking forward to working with the 2014 JPII volleyball team! |
